Is this really swelling, or is it because they didn't remove fat? The doctor looked at my eyes and said buried suture alone would be fine, so I had epicanthoplasty and buried suture done... But even after more than 20 days since buried suture, they still look like that.... To say it's swelling and that it's going down slowly, everyone around me says it doesn't look like swelling..... (My friend is a nurse at a plastic surgery clinic... and she said my eyes originally shouldn't have been done with buried suture, and even if they did, they should have removed some fat.. But the doctor at the hospital where I had surgery said buried suture alone would be fine... -_-) Could it be because they were supposed to remove fat before doing the surgery, but didn't? Please leave honest replies. When seen in person, my eyes look almost the same as the eyes of the person two posts below mine who said it was day 23 after incision.... Even though mine was buried suture... T.T
