Review of painless anesthesia...

I had surgery on June 10, and today is day 4. I'm going to have the stitches removed tomorrow. I'm leaving this post in case it helps others, just as this community helped me.. When I read surgery reviews, many people said local anesthesia was extremely painful, so I was worried about that too. So I decided that I would absolutely choose painless anesthesia for the surgery. Of the two clinics I was considering until the end, one said they only use local anesthesia, and the other said they could do painless anesthesia. So I definitely chose painless anesthesia... They say the reason some avoid painless anesthesia is because it makes it hard to set the line during surgery... Speaking from my experience... After they put an injection in my arm, a little while later I felt hazy.... I think I fell asleep quickly. Then the doctor woke me up...telling me to open my eyes.. Then they said, okay...and I fell asleep again...then a little later they woke me again, saying open your eyes~ And after a bit, they woke me up completely. I think the surgery took about 30-40 minutes. They woke me twice in the middle and then fully woke me at the end... Other than feeling a little dizzy when I got up afterward, there was nothing wrong. I lay down for a bit to clear my head and then went home. Some people say they woke up in the middle and heard all the sounds of anesthesia, and some say they had a hard time because they felt nauseated when they woke from anesthesia, but I guess that varies by person... But after surgery, the bruising around my eyes was so severe that I was a little suspicious they might have hit me while I was asleep, aside from doing the surgery.... hahaha I hope this helps those planning on painless anesthesia...
