I had jaw and cheekbone surgery. This time, one cheekbone seems to have been done slightly wrong, so I think I’ll need to have a small revision surgery. It will be under general anesthesia, with an intraoral incision (only on one side), and they said the surgery will take about 15 minutes. But the problem is that I can’t take time off, meaning I would have to go to work right after surgery, so it’s absolutely impossible right now. I think I may only be able to have the surgery during summer vacation, and I’m really worried. People around me don’t know about it. So what I want to ask is, if you only have cheekbone surgery, how much swelling is there? Since I had it together with my jaw, I don’t know what the swelling would be like if only the cheekbone is touched. This time they’ll only touch one side, and the doctor says the surgery time is short, but still, it’s surgery with general anesthesia and an intraoral incision, so I think there will be swelling. Then it would be impossible to keep lying anymore. For those who only had cheekbone surgery, please tell me which areas swelled. And even though mine is a simple procedure, going to work right after surgery would be too much, right? The hospital is telling me to do it quickly, but in my current situation it’s impossible. I’m going crazy not knowing what to do.
