After having revision surgery, it’s very different from my previous surgery. Both during the surgery and with the swelling going down. On the actual day of surgery, I really had so much to say, but after getting my stitches removed today, I feel like I just forgot everything. I had double eyelid surgery before and it looked like sausages, so they made the thick part thinner, made the line natural, also did epicanthoplasty, and said removing the tattoo on my lower eyeliner would make my impression look better, so we removed it. Right after my eye surgery that day, I had it removed with laser. Maybe because that was removed, or because the sausage eyes are gone, anyway, my eyes look longer, and even though there is still a lot of swelling, they look natural and much softer. When I got up after having the stitches removed, they said there is still a lot of swelling. They said it will all go down soon. Still, compared with my old eyes, the double eyelids are much smaller and prettier. I came home today feeling good and took lots of photos, but I don’t know how to upload them. As for surgeries, besides my previous double eyelid surgery, I’ve also had surgery when I was 4 months pregnant and have had many other surgeries, but this was much easier than I expected. It seems double eyelid methods have advanced a lot too. The anesthesia as well. When I made the appointment, they asked whether I wanted sedation anesthesia or local anesthesia, and because I keep forgetting things these days, I said I’d do local anesthesia instead of sedation anesthesia, but I was worried it would hurt. They told me to come earlier than my scheduled surgery time, so I went, and they applied something white on top of my eyes. Maybe because they applied that, when I got the anesthetic injection, it really didn’t hurt at all. The director said they were going to give the injection, so I was holding someone’s hand tightly, but it really didn’t hurt at all. I wonder if anesthetic drugs these days are different from before.. Anyway, it’s very different from the double eyelid surgery I had before. Comparing with my old photos, I really think I did well to have it done. My mom also says it’s amazing when she sees the eye shape coming out. I’m in Cheongju, and while reading surgery reviews in this community, I hesitated a lot about where to do it. But after seeing a few people around me who turned out well in person, it became easy to decide. It’s a hospital in front of Cheongju Department Store, and the doctor is a woman. Actually, I also have something to do for my breasts, and my husband has been looking at my eyes these days and likes them, saying they turned out well. I’ll pester him just a little more and get my breasts done soon too. Oh, during surgery, the operating room was dead silent. The director and nurses didn’t say anything, only the words needed for surgery, asking for something or saying what to do here... just those kinds of things, quietly. All of those words were in English, so I was just thinking, I guess they’re doing something... I had read posts here and thought maybe they’d have the radio on while operating, but it was more comfortable because they just did it quietly. I’ll try to figure out how to upload photos and post them once. But how does everyone upload photos so well... I don’t know when I’ll be able to upload like that.
