I had jaw and cheekbone surgery on June 1. But I’m curious about something. They told me I shouldn’t open my mouth wide like “ah~,” so I’m wondering whether other hospitals also tell you not to open your mouth even after more than a month. For cheekbone surgery, you know the method where they cut the bone and push the side cheekbone inward, right? That’s what I had. When they took an X-ray, they said the bone is healing well, but I still have to be careful. They said opening my mouth wide and chewing hard foods could cause problems later.
