A while ago, I asked the hospital by KakaoTalk. The manager there looked at my chart and explained to me that a spreader graft had been done for the purpose of correcting a deviated nose, in a way of adding it to the opposite side of the deviated nasal septum, and told me to hear the details from the director, so I went for now. From just the manager’s explanation, I thought the nasal tip had been done with septal extension, a support strut, a spreader graft, and ear cartilage. But after seeing the director, the director said there was no spreader graft. They said a spreader graft is done by grafting septal cartilage to the center of the nasal dorsum for people whose upper nose is severely deviated. So then, what was added to the septum is not a spreader graft…
