I had surgery today. It was a lot harder than I expected..

Ah.. Today I finally had nose surgery. Even until I made the reservation, it didn’t feel very real, but after I got on the operating table today, I got nervous.. The doctor did local anesthesia after sedation. When I woke up from sleep, the surgery was already underway. During sedation, it felt as if I had experienced some kind of three-dimensional world, it was strange. I didn’t dream, but I definitely saw something.. It was really bizarre.. lol But mine was kind of a major surgery (the doctor said it was stage 2.. lol), and he was shaving down bone.. It was hump nose surgery. I could feel it, and it was bearable. And when they were suturing, it stung enough for me to make an “ah” sound.. Then came the long-awaited hammer.. The doctor gave me sedation one more time then, and just like the first time, he told me to count out loud from 1. I think I fell asleep around 25. As the anesthesia slowly started to wear off, my mind was foggy~ and my body was stiff, you know that anesthetic feeling? Ah, I thought I was going to die.. I could hear the nurses talking, but for some reason my eyes wouldn’t open well, and as soon as I woke from anesthesia, breathing difficulty came on too, so I really thought, this must be what dying is like. Ah, I’m dying..;; like that.. I was so scared. Then I opened my eyes with great difficulty, gasped for breath, and barely got up with support. Even going to the recovery room, I couldn’t control my body properly. After surgery, I was so exhausted that I called over the aunt who came with me and just complained nonstop.. Rather than the surgery hurting, it was just so exhausting. When I woke up from the second sedation, it truly felt like experiencing the afterlife.. How was it for everyone? Honestly, if I were told to do it again, I really don’t think I could.. I even came to respect people who have revision surgery.. Right now my eyes are so extremely swollen that even keeping them open is hard.. They stick out more than my forehead.. I wonder if it’ll go down. There’s no pain in my nose, but my nose is really enormous now.. lol I have to breathe through my mouth.. I hope all the swelling goes down soon.. I’m curious too.. I have to go to the clinic tomorrow, but I have no idea how I’m going to go looking like this..
