I used autologous costal cartilage and ear cartilage for my nasal tip, and the hardness bothers me much more than I expected, so once I reach 6 months I’m thinking of removing the autologous costal cartilage right away. But I want to leave the ear cartilage that was placed over it… I just don’t know if that’s possible. Oh, and if they say I need to leave some rib cartilage in case my nasal tip lifts after removal, I’m willing to leave some, but if only a little is left, is there almost no foreign-body sensation and does the hardness go away, or is the hardness just the same? If anyone here has removed autologous costal cartilage from the nasal tip, please let me know…
