I had septal surgery, and septal cartilage was grafted to the outer wall/alar side of my nose. I did it because when I inhaled, the alar side looked like it collapsed inward a lot, but now I have discomfort and a foreign-body sensation, and the shape has changed too. I’m truly desperate. It’s been about 10 days since surgery, but the hospital where I had the surgery keeps giving me false hope, saying it will get better with time, and they don’t seem willing to do it. If I can’t get early removal and have to wait 6 months, I feel like I might jump off somewhere or hang myself, so I’m desperately asking for help. Is early removal only possible at GYS? Is it perhaps possible somewhere else too? I’m truly desperate. Any information at all, please comment…
