The hospital says they’ll refund the surgery fee and is telling me to write a settlement agreement, and a claim has also been filed with the Medical Mutual Aid Association. If I sign this, could I later be unable to receive the damages from the association? Should I include in the settlement agreement that damages according to the Medical Mutual Aid Association procedure must be paid additionally?
