I had surgery last Friday, so today is exactly one week I had the splint on for 3 days, and while I had the splint on, my face was extremely swollen. I looked exactly like Avatar. The bruising was also intense. Amazingly, from the moment the splint came off, the swelling started going down really fast, and the bruising also quickly changed to yellow and green bruises, enough that I can cover it with makeup. I’m excited because I think it’ll go down even more after getting the stitches removed today. There’s still swelling in my nose, but the major swelling seems to be gone.
