I had revision nose surgery in January, then developed inflammation in April, had nasal irrigation on 4/9, recurrence on 4/19, and nasal irrigation plus silicone removal on 4/23. During the revision surgery, there had been 4 mm inserted from the previous first surgery, but 7 mm was inserted without discussion. I had requested to keep the line and height the same and make it natural. Before surgery, there wasn’t even any mention that 7 mm would be inserted. A line formed on the nasal bridge. On 4/23, they said they would remove the silicone through a closed approach without making an incision on the columella side, but the day after surgery, I found stitches hidden under the columella taping.
