It has been 20 days since I had surgery with silicone for the nasal bridge and septal cartilage for the nasal tip. They tell me to wait because the swelling will go down, but even now, 20 days later, my nasal tip is blunt and there has been no change at all, so I feel like I’m going crazy What should I do?? I’m considering revision surgery, but I can’t wait 6 months Would it be possible after 3 months?? I feel completely lost. The clinic says that after 6 months we should use SureDerm, which is similar to AlloDerm, but I hear SureDerm also gets absorbed and the tip becomes blunt again. My precious septal cartilage;;; Where can I go to get it back? Every day I feel depressed, I don’t want to go outside, and I don’t want to meet anyone. The clinic said ear cartilage cannot be harvested in a large amount, so they suggested SureDerm, but I don’t feel comfortable with it!!! I probably can’t reuse the septal cartilage that was put inside my nose, right?? How can the surgery make my nose look exactly the same as before with no change at all? This is really hard.
