Nasal bone reduction surgery hurt much more than I expected ㅠ

Hello, I was just lurking through posts about nasal bone reduction surgery, and ended up writing one myself. If you look at the attached photo, my nose is high and big, a fleshy bulbous nose, so when people look at my face for real, the very first thing they notice is my nose,, About 6 years ago, when I went in for surgery to remove fat from under my eyes, I asked the doctor for an estimate ㅋㅋ and he said it seemed like they could just shave down the bone next to the bridge a little. So during this school break, I decided to have the bone along the bridge reduced, and first I went to two places for consultations. At the first place near Gangnam Station, they said if they shaved the bone, my nose could become shorter and turn into a snub nose, and they would put in about a 2 mm silicone implant between my eyebrows and make my nostrils into long oval shapes like foreigners’; then at Apgujeong-dong, the doctor, really quickly and casually, with something like a plastic surgery knife in hand, pressed around both sides of my nasal bridge, the slightly humped parts, and said, "Here, here, here, we can just shave this down a bit." I didn’t know until then that this was nasal bone reduction, I thought it was just a surgery to smooth the bone a little.. Anyway, my dad said this was definitely the right answer, and he just set the surgery date right there on the spot, ㅠ To check whether general anesthesia was okay, I had X-rays, blood tests, photos, and everything done that day.. The surgery fee was discounted from 3 million won to 2.7 million won.. Anyway, most people who had nasal bone reduction surgery said it didn’t hurt much, and things like that, so I wasn’t that worried before the surgery either, and I had general anesthesia. Because I have a fleshy bulbous nose, the director said he would reduce my nostrils a bit, but my mom and the people around me said not to reduce them, so I decided not to do it, and just have the bone reduction done. Anyway, once I went into the operating room, they shaved my nose hairs mercilessly ㅋㅋ and then I got an IV ㅠ They wiped off all my nail polish too;; I heard that with general anesthesia, they check your health status by looking at your nails,, sob Anyway, more and more nurses came into the operating room, and one of them said, "Your arm might feel a little sore~" while putting an injection into the IV line, then a strange smell suddenly came up and I fell asleep right away;; Then when I came to, I was already in the recovery room, but I was so thirsty I thought I was going to die, seriously;; More than my nose hurting, whether they put a tube in my throat or whatever, my mouth and throat were completely dried out ㅠ I still hadn’t fully come out of the anesthesia, so I was kicking the wall asking for water ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ really, in the voice of some old man on his last legs;; I was kicking and saying, "Water, give me water," while my dad next to me kept chuckling because I looked funny;;ㅠ But the nurse said, since I had surgery under general anesthesia, if I drank water right away it could be a big problem, I could vomit and such, and that I wasn’t allowed to ㅠ I really thought I was going to die of thirst;; When I was that thirsty, I couldn’t sleep, sob sob my voice wouldn’t come out, I kept coughing from thirst, my nose was numb, my head hurt, and my jaw was sore too ㅠ it was total chaos, Not long after I got to the recovery room, I urgently needed to use the bathroom, so I went alone holding my IV pole, and came out half-dazed after taking care of business, but the nurse got startled and said I shouldn’t already be like this as a patient, that if I kept this up I’d collapse, and kept stopping me;;ㅋㅋ My dad looked at me and said I looked like a bull or something. haha Anyway, after seeing me like that, the nurse came back in later and said that normally I could only drink water the next morning, but since I was already walking around and sitting up, my recovery was fast, so she would give me water starting in the evening, and that was truly hallelujah. ㅠ Anyway, I stayed in the hospital for one night.. Thanks to the anesthesia, my tonsils got hugely swollen;; so for several days I couldn’t even speak, and couldn’t answer the phone either ㅠ It’s been 5 days since the surgery now, and I managed to sleep a little today, but because my nose is uncomfortable, I still can’t sleep well.. ㅠ I haven’t been able to sleep properly for several days, I was that miserable, sob sob, ㅠ My voice is all cracked like an old man’s, one cheek is puffed up as if I were holding a giant candy in my mouth, and my whole face is swollen ㅠ I’m trying to drink a lot of pumpkin juice :) Oh, after reading posts again I’m starting to worry a little. On Wednesday, they’ll take off everything on my nose, including the tape and all that, but when I read posts from people who had nasal bone reduction surgery, so many of them say that compared with the money spent, there’s no visible difference at all, the old nose was better, it’s asymmetrical, it became a snub nose, and so on.. Honestly, I’m really worried. ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I kind of wish I had reduced my nostrils a bit too.. Ahh, anyway, once they take everything off my nose, I’ll post another update, I’m desperately praying that it turns out pretty.. ㅠ Have a nice day ♡
