When I first heard it, I didn’t even know what it was, and the explanation didn’t really register, so I was a bit blank. But they noticed I didn’t understand and explained it again in simpler terms, so in the end I fully understood. Once the reason why breathing had usually been uncomfortable lined up exactly, it was a moment where I thought, ‘Ah, so that’s why.’ They said I was in a condition that needed inferior turbinate reduction surgery, and that if I had surgery, breathing would become much easier than now, so I started feeling a bit hopeful too.
