I had it done at a plastic surgery clinic in Apgujeong, and it looks really natural (it turned out like a Korean nose) I’m the type whose swelling goes down very easily, so I didn’t have a hard time at all. But my original nose was a bit upturned, had a lot of flesh on the nose itself, and the columella sat slightly higher than the alar wings. I think it was a bad starting point. lol Pulling the columella down was really natural and the nasal line is great, and because it wasn’t open rhinoplasty there’s no scar... everything was good, but just one thing! The upturned nose didn’t come down as much as I wanted. Maybe the doctor focused too much on lowering the columella.. When I said it seemed too upturned, he said the side profile wasn’t like that... But what I see matters, since it’s my face. Sometimes when I’m under harsh overhead lighting, my nose looks unbelievably short. Every time that happens, I’m like, ah, this is so frustrating. My mom says you need to do the nose about twice to be satisfied, but was I too greedy? Even now when I look in the mirror, I can still see a bit of my nostrils, and I honestly feel like grabbing my nose and pushing it down. (I wonder if you understand this feeling...) If I get revision surgery, can the upturned nose be lowered? Sigh...
