Today is day 8 after surgery! Two days later, the cotton packing was removed, and after 7 days, the splint was finally removed. Breathing is so comfortable that I’m genuinely over the moon lol Maybe it’s because I had rhinitis surgery done at the same time too, but I didn’t know breathing through my nose could feel this refreshing. But when the splint came off and I looked in the mirror, I was startled for a moment… It’s probably because of the swelling, but my nose looked bigger than I expected, so I had a brief mental breakdown For now, because of the swelling, my nose feels very tight and swollen, and it feels like my face is centered only around my nose. Still, I think the shape came out nicely, and once the swelling goes down, it seems like it’ll look just naturally right! For anyone considering surgery, I honestly want to recommend it just for the breathing alone.
