My surgery is today around 2 p.m. If I'd known sooner that a site like this existed, I would have shared my worries with everyone... I booked it last Wednesday, and a week went by so fast.. I'm having surgery to bring together the separated cartilage on both sides, shave down the slightly protruding nasal bone, and remove flesh from my blunt nasal tip, about that much.. The decisive issue is my blunt nasal tip, so I hope a lot of the flesh on the blunt tip gets removed.. There seem to be a lot of surgical materials mentioned in surgery reviews, but I don't think cartilage is being used for me.. It seemed like they were only using Gore-Tex... The hospital where I'm having surgery is one I had a consultation at a year ago, and back then the doctor said the satisfaction rate with the result would be 50:50 and said, "I don't really want to recommend surgery," so I gave up on surgery, but after a year of thinking it over, I've finally made up my mind now. Like most of the people here who had surgery, I hope my surgery goes well.. It's my first surgery, so I'm nervous too.. I wonder how nervous I'll be a few hours before surgery..-_-;; Then I'll upload photos later. I hope everyone has a good day...
