Do people often do nose surgery like this these days?

I had silicone put in the bridge of my nose and ear cartilage put in the nasal tip. It seems like many people had it done with a closed approach, but mine was open I had it done at a fairly well-known place near Gangnam Station. Honestly, I wanted it to be subtle, so I wanted a closed approach, but somehow every plastic surgery clinic I went to for consultations said they would do it with an open approach... Do people often use the open approach these days? Or do they mostly use the closed approach?
