Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

I had nose surgery yesterday^^ (upturned nose in Busan)

I had surgery yesterday at 3 o’clock. I was out of it, so I’m only writing the review now lol I had upturned nose surgery at ㅇㄷㅈ next to Dongbo Bookstore in Busan. These days, many people do upturned nose surgery with septal cartilage, but I don’t have much septal cartilageㅠㅠ and also because I was thinking about possible revision surgery;; I used ear cartilage. I asked the director whether my nose might turn up again, and he said that doesn’t happen lol But you never know what can happen. I arrived at the clinic with a trembling heart and I think I went to the bathroom 2-3 times. Before the surgery, I had another brief consultation, took photos, signed the consent form, paid, and then lay down on the operating table. Maybe because they use local anesthesia there, you just lie down in the clothes you came in. They trimmed my nose hair, and while doing the left nostril, I think it got pinched because it hurtㅠㅠ It seems like I got a cut.. It wouldn’t have much to do with the surgery, right?? Honestly, I’m worried.. After the preparation was done, the doctor came and started anesthesia from the ear, and I really.. wanted to get off the table and say I wouldn’t do the surgery. It hurt so, so, so much!!! ㅠㅠ They injected anesthetic into my ear and nose several times, and for a moment I wished they would put me under sleep anesthesia. I thought I could never do revision surgery.. Though honestly, now I’ve become calm about it again;; haha After the anesthesia was done, they first took cartilage from my ear. I could hear a swish~ sound, the sound of my flesh being cut, and a crunching~ sound, the sound of cartilage being cut. I could hear everything. I’m also very sensitive to pain, and because the anesthesia hurt so much, I worried what if the anesthesia wore off during the surgery and it hurt, but thankfully only the anesthesia hurt. During the surgery, I was okay except for the fear of hearing everything so vividly and imagining it all. After taking out the ear cartilage, they worked on my nose, and just like his first impression, the director was careful and touched and adjusted it meticulously many times. Honestly, I had my eyes tightly closed, so I don’t know what he was doing;; He placed cartilage, tied it, anyway it took a long time. After the surgery, my friend asked why it took so long and said she thought I had died lol They said the surgery time was 1-1.5 hours and that it usually ends in about an hour, but mine took almost 2 hoursㅠㅠ Anyway, after the surgery ended, I listened blankly to the precautions and took a taxi home. Something started dripping from my nose~ From then, blood came out until early this morning. Now some runny nose and blood are coming out, but it’s mostly runny nose haha Because I keep gauze taped under my nose, it’s a little stuffy.. Since yesterday I’ve been drinking pumpkin juice, icing it, and sleeping sitting up, so I think I’m less swollen than expected. My friend says I’m a bit swollen, but it’s not as much as I expected, so I feel relieved. But I’ll have to see how it is this afternoon and tomorrow. Under my eyes is getting dark, so I’m already showing signs of becoming a beast haha Oh.. I said I was glad I didn’t use septal cartilage, and my nose does feel sore and throbbing, but more than that, my ear hurts more. Even now my ear feels numb and sore ㅠㅠ They say some people have more pain in the ear, and I guess I’m that type. I’m worried and hope it heals quickly. Ah.. I had 4 mm silicone put in. At my first consultation, they mentioned 4 mm, so I was going to ask about 4.5, but during the consultation yesterday, they said it might be 3 mm ㅠㅠ They said they would decide after doing the nasal tip, so I was worried, but thankfully 3 mm was too low, so they put in 4 mm. They said it would be difficult to lower the nose 100%, and that it would probably become a semi-ski-slope nose shape. Looking at the tip, it really isn’t in a straight line with the nostril wings. I guess it’s because my nose was naturally very short and upturned. Still, my friend said my nose came down a lot and the bridge got higher, which gave me hope, so I’m just waiting for the swelling to go down. I think I wrote way too much, rambling on haha I’ll take progress photos every day, and once the swelling goes down, I’ll upload them. It’s only day one lol During the surgery I thought, why am I doing this?? But after it was done, I’m sitting here thinking it wasn’t such a big deal after all ㅡㅡ;;; I haven’t had a child yet, but it made me think maybe that’s why people have one child and then have another haha Anyway.. I hope those who are thinking about surgery really think carefully before doing it. I hope everyone succeeds and becomes prettier~~!!
