I had incisional double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty and eye shape correction with Director Lee Min-cheol at Grida Plastic Surgery, and I’m satisfied! The photo is from 1 month after surgery, and at 1 week post-op I was so swollen (..) that it actually felt like my eyes had gotten smaller, so I was really anxious. But thankfully, that’s not the case at all now. I always used to open my eyes with my forehead, and when I woke up in the morning, unless I opened my eyes using my forehead, my eyes could only open in a dull, unfocused way. But after eye shape correction, I like that I no longer open my eyes with my forehead. I had heard a lot about side effects and was worried, but thankfully my eyes close all the way well, and I don’t think they’re overcorrected, so I don’t seem to have any notable side effects. Maybe just that I can slightly feel the strength when opening my eyes? When I had monolids, even if I applied eyeshadow heavily when doing makeup, none of it showed once I opened my eyes. But now even applying just a little shows so well, so doing makeup feels fun lol It may vary from person to person, but I’m very satisfied with getting double eyelid surgery!
