My nasal bridge was originally high, the area between the eyebrows was low, my nose was short, and my nasal bones were a bit wide. I did not have osteotomy. Using both pieces of ear cartilage, I had surgery to bring the nasal tip down and make the nose shape longer, and to fill the area between the glabella and the highest point of the nasal bone with ear cartilage. (The wide areas on both sides of the nasal bone just below the glabella were shaved down very slightly.) Current condition (The reason the nasal bridge is not smooth and has curves is that I told the doctor I liked a natural look, that I didn't want it to become straight and smooth like silicone was inserted, and asked not to shave down the highest part and to leave it as it was.) 1. The glabella area is very swollen, so from the side view it looks like a straight line with the nasal tip. 2. The nasal tip has not come down as much as I expected, and the tip is not sharp but blunt. It is not high either. Same height as before. 3. From the front, compared with before, except for the glabella area, even the nasal tip is almost the same. Questions for seniors 1. When the swelling in the glabella goes down, does it go down a lot? Or only a little? 2. How much time does overall nasal swelling need before it settles into place and goes down? 3. When the swelling in the nasal tip goes down, does it become slimmer? Thanks thanks
