It's been 1 month since I had rhinoplasty with Director Kim Jae-yoon at Lowell Plastic Surgery! From the side, my nose looked high, but my complex was that from the front, it looked thick, the tip was blunt, and it looked spread out. At other places, I had only been recommended a silicone implant, but here, for the first time, they recommended autologous costal cartilage and osteotomy. I hadn't even thought about costal cartilage, so I was scared, but I liked that this place has a special approach of leaving the back side of the costal cartilage as it is and using only exactly where needed. More than anything, I liked the very, very kind consultation and no waiting the most! Without any pressure, they empathized with the areas I needed and thought harder than I did about surgical methods to improve them, so I trusted them. It was the first hospital where I felt good after coming out from a consultation. And maybe because it's a one-doctor clinic, they looked at things carefully, and I strongly felt that they took good care of me from the consultation onward. Even though it was costal cartilage surgery, I walked out so fine that my family was surprised, and recovery was fast too. Probably because only the front part of the costal cartilage was cut out, the recovery period was short and there was almost no pain. The major swelling lasted 1-2 weeks, and the raised angle found its proper position in exactly one month. Both the angle and thickness were exactly the amount I wanted. And because they do 4-point fixation, I don't think I'll have worries later either. I think this hospital's greatest strength is post-surgery care. Every time I went, they did antibiotics, swelling laser treatment, wound disinfection, and intranasal disinfection. Also, because I walked around too hot in summer, the wound area near the costal cartilage got slightly infected, and the doctor even made time to resuture it, so this hospital is truly sincere about recovery care. They are also sincere about scar treatment, so I wasn't worried about scarring either. Changing just my nose made my impression more feminine both in photos and when seen in person, so I gained confidence, and because it changed into the impression I had wanted, I have no regrets at all about the surgery. Since it's still only the 1-month mark, breathing isn't comfortable because of swelling inside the nose, but other than that, there are no downsides. Oh, the cost was also the same as the event price I saw on the app, so I was satisfied with that too.
