I had it done at a well-known hospital in Busan with a discount through an acquaintance’s recommendation, and considering the price difference of about 1 million won compared with SMILE and the safety, I went with LASEK. For 4 days after surgery, you can’t see anything, especially bright things.. My binocular visual acuity test result was 1.4 to 1.5, so it feels a bit overcorrected compared with the 1.0 they mentioned during the consultation, but I actually like it. I definitely seem to have some light spreading, and I have almost no dry eye. I’m very satisfied because I was tired of looking for my glasses every morning and wearing cosmetic contact lenses because of my vision, and when I meet people who wear glasses, I tend to recommend it to them.
