I was originally stressed because my eyes were genetically small, and a middle school friend who had monolids just like me got eye surgery from Director Lee Moon-ki at ㅇㅇㄷ and said it turned out really well, so he recommended it to me. After hearing that, I decided to get surgery too! At first, it felt unfamiliar that my eyes had gotten bigger, so it didn’t feel like my own face, but I gradually got used to it! I think the swelling and bruising went down quickly because I diligently did warm/cold compresses and went for walks! The director recommended that I do canthoplasty together, so I did it too. I was worried about scarring, but fortunately there are no scars and my eyes look clean and more open, so I think it was a good decision to do it together! From the 3-month mark, there was almost no swelling, and the line settled naturally! After double eyelid surgery, my friends told me a lot that my expression looks much better and that my eyes look naturally well done, so I’m very satisfied!
