Nose Surgery Reviews

<Photo> Uploaded because there’s been almost no recent change in shape …

It’s a long post, so please read it comfortably in whatever position feels easiest,,, The photo order is as written. I had a slight curve and the tip of my nose didn’t just drop straight down; depending on the angle, there was a slight curve, or it had a slightly hump-like feel. I didn’t want to touch the hump, because I prefer a nose with some shape and height over a smooth nose,,,, like Han Hye-jin’s,,, or Lee Mi-sook’s,,, So I only did the tip. It was ear cartilage and cartilage suturing. And because it was pulled up completely, it became a pig nose,,,, If you look, my nose would have been one that could have been made to look raised just by simple augmentation, but they just raised it upward,, It became a complete pig nose,,, The after-surgery photo was honestly taken by forcing the angle just to comfort myself. In reality it really looked like a power outlet,,, I never even took a front-facing photo,,, So I had it removed, but some contracture came. There was absolutely no inflammation, but I have thick skin, oily skin,,, and in a case where the skin quality isn’t good. Since it wasn’t lengthened, even when it was in the surgical state it was lifted, so compared with ordinary postoperative shrinkage after removal, I think there was a little more,,, contraction,,,, I’ve posted so much over this time that I’m sure a lot of you probably already know,,, I went through terrible emotional suffering too,,, depression, social anxiety, even a suicide attempt, and I did every possible thing Because of that, I’ve gained 10 kg now,,ㅡㅡ Anyway, while spending those 5 months like that, I think I still took care of myself even while crying. I did massage every single day, not skipping even one day, really not one single day I also did warm compresses, and I kept taking Libajen regularly until last week. (I think I took it for quite a long time,,,ㅡㅡ Please take it in a way that suits you individually.) I massaged every day and also took supplements (I think this is important. Because vitamin and mineral supply was smooth, recovery got faster. I probably had to take it because of Libajen too, otherwise it seemed to sag a bit.) I had quit smoking completely for all 5 months I even didn’t smell anything. Same with alcohol. Then recently I’ve been smoking one or two cigarettes sometimes. I’m going to quit again soon because of another reason (a sudden loss of facial elasticity,,, from all the stress over that time,,, so now that the nose issue has been resolved, I’m planning to restore other things completely.) I really cried a lot and was throwing things, breaking things, honestly,,, For about ten days after removal, because of the swelling and because the healing period hadn’t really set in, there was no firmness and it seemed like it would go back. But the lifted nose came down just a little, then went back up again when the contracture period came. I think this varies from person to person. The degree of it. Right now the tip of my nose seems to have just a tiny bit of volume, but at other times it looks exactly the same as before. The scar-tissue score seems to be about 2%,,,,, The change is that the nostrils went from a small triangular shape to something a little like kidney beans. Personally, I liked my nose tip shape because when the small triangular nostrils were seen from the front, they didn’t stand out much and looked like a lying oval. Now it’s almost the same overall, but the nostrils changed a little. The triangular shape remains, but the upper part has opened just a tiny bit,,, It’s a triangular nostril that almost became kidney-shaped. At least it seems less noticeable from the front little by little, so I’m trying not to worry about it. It’s the 5-month mark, and in the morning after crying my nose swells a little, so it’s only very slightly swollen,,, There’s also a little firmness, but after 20 minutes it all loosens up quickly,,, The shape has almost no change now. It hasn’t actually been long since it became like this. The first 1 to 3 months were complete hell, then during month 4 hell came and went, and by month 5 I feel like I can live again. I heard that for other people it got better gradually after 6 months, so I think mine may be a bit fast too. Especially the morning symptoms,,, got better quickly. And so did the shape,,,, During that time I really felt like I was going to die. Even when I went to the bank, with people around, I didn’t care at all and just kept massaging,,ㅡㅡ I kept the environment warm and humid all the time, and because I felt like sleeping with a mask only on my nose was leaving marks, from then on I slept with my blanket covering my face too. After doing that, my nose seemed to shrink less in the morning. Maybe because my nose wasn’t getting cold, or because it had the effect of a continuous warm compress. Then at some point, when I slept like that, I felt like sebum was causing clumping more severely (when it’s hot, sebum gets worse), so I think I always woke up every 3 hours while sleeping. I’d wake up, wipe the sebum with tissue or a handkerchief, and go back to sleep,,, I did that for months,,, Thinking about it now, it was really so hard,,, Even so, I used to look in the mirror in the morning and cry, but I was getting hope because it was gradually improving,,, Honestly, no one explained the care method in detail, so there was a period when I read books, searched for materials, adapted them, and went completely overboard on my own,,,,,, I think I was really anxious and struggling then,,,,, It had been progressing as expected so far, and my current expectation is that it won’t change from this state and the volume will only decrease a little,,,, That’s what I’m hoping for. I’m praying too,, I really want it to turn out that way,,,, And because the tip of my nose was so extremely soft, I also left consultation posts at other hospitals,,, But they said being soft at all is not a problem, and I’m still worried inside. Before surgery, my original nose was thick-skinned too, so it wasn’t the kind of nose that became soft and pig-nose-like very easily,, So now it actually feels softer than my original nose,,, I’m going to the hospital again for another checkup,,, Whether there were any risky things in my care method so far, how things are expected to progress from here, and so on,,,,,,, I did look up the care methods in advance and checked with doctors before doing them, but just in case,,, If I find anything out, I’ll write it in a follow-up. I really want to say this to those who suffered with a nose shape that was a mess, had it removed, and are still suffering emotionally after removal: care is something you can do, as long as later you won’t regret not having done enough,,,(I actually regret the surgery too, but I didn’t want to regret again later for not doing the care I could have done afterward,,, for me,,,) And time is going to pass anyway. If you’re looking in the mirror and it hasn’t been long since removal,,,, the nose shape you’re seeing now is not the nose shape you’ll have for the rest of your life, so please don’t collapse every moment,,, I didn’t give up on the care, but I did give up mentally,,, I was collapsing a lot and was truly in extreme distress,,,,,,, I even developed hair loss,,,,,, my hair was thinning badly,,, Strangely enough, these days it’s falling out less,,,, So before the long recovery period after removal, please don’t collapse too early,,,,,, Later, you end up struggling with a depression for reasons you don’t even know,,, and once the depression fades a bit, the bad energy that remained shows up as lethargy,,, So force yourself to be strong,,,, Put your mind to it like, “I will restore my own face no matter what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”,,,,,,, I couldn’t do that, so even though my nose was improving, my mind was getting exhausted,,,, From experience,,, there really wasn’t any need for that,,,, Because I was taking care of it, time passed too,,, The nose is supposed to gradually return, but why did I drag myself into such an unnecessary hell,,,,, It’s really been a long time since I wrote in the morning like this. Before, I couldn’t even sleep late in the morning (after removal, if I slept too much, it would clump and shrink more,, but sleep has a big impact on recovery and regeneration, so good sleep and an appropriate amount of time are necessary) But these days I’ve been sleeping late,,, Since my nose is fine in the morning, I think I wake up early because I feel good,,,,, And I keep looking in the mirror because it’s amazing that my nose is still okay,,, Before, only after forcing it down with massage would it calm down a bit, then slowly rise again or something like that,,,, Still, I won’t let my guard down and I’ll keep massaging a little bit,,, I think I’ll reduce it compared with before now,,,, But I’ll keep doing it steadily until 10 months,,, If I overdo it, everything has come down, but it mustn’t go lower than that, so gently,, Now it’s a war against body fat and a sagging face,,,, I won’t do lifting surgery and will find another way and restore it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a personal story, but after my mother’s cancer surgery her face changed a lot, and now, in the 7th year, she’s become younger than before. Seeing that, what you eat and also a regular eating habit (if your internal organs sag, your face sags too,,ㅡㅡ) Exercise (intense exercise is said to release reactive oxygen species and reduce elasticity even more,,, so do it moderately) and habitually doing facial acupressure/meridian massage at home (I’m going to look this up online and try it too. It seems like anything done consistently has results) And I ended up getting dermatology procedures too because I have some acne scars,, I think I’ll research all of that thoroughly too. Now whenever I’m about to do something, I get scared first, so I think that’s become a good habit. My information-gathering has become completely,,,,, careful,,,, Ah, I’m really rambling,,,,,,, I’m bored in the morning,,,,, I should go exercise,,,,,,,,,,,, Now that the weather is getting colder, the place where the ear cartilage was removed still feels cold when I walk outside,,ㅡㅡ An old painful memory comes back, but now I’m going to try to forget it,,,,,, I should remember the fact that I suffered, but also how I got through it and managed to endure it and live on,,,,,, Looking back, this whole experience may actually become a source of strength for me,,,,, Stay strong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aaaahhh, let’s gooooo!!!^^
