I can't believe it's already almost been a month since surgery. Time really flies... First, if I organize and think through my real experience over the past month... Surgery day - I was so fine that I wondered if it was really okay to be like this... But... because of the sleep anesthesia, I couldn't help feeling groggy... Then, after about 5 hours, only the right side under my eye turned a little bluish, like a bruise, really only about 2%... Day 2-3 - Wow... it was just a massive eye discharge festival... When I woke up, because of the eye discharge, I first went to the bathroom and lightly washed with water, kept putting in artificial tears, and then... my eyes swelled the most on days 2 to 3, so I kept applying ice packs. Day 4 - From this point... I had to go to work... so I had no choice but to wear glasses and go to work. Swelling was still there, and I had gotten surgery over the weekend, but not one coworker asked me, 'Did you do something...?' Even now, nobody has asked if I did something. (It's enough to go about daily life.) After steadily doing ice packs, when I started switching to warm compresses, for about 2 weeks, there was still a slight painful(?) throbbing feeling when I touched under my eyes. After that, it became so normal that I wondered, did I even do anything...? Conclusion. Honestly, if you're expecting something to look noticeably different like with other surgeries, you might be disappointed. But it is definitely true that something subtly looks more organized under the eyes when taking photos... The doctor said that since I have some age, there is sagging in my face, so the insufficient areas may need to be filled again with fat. What is certain is that the pigmented dark circles under the eyes do not change. But if you're someone who wants to naturally clean up the under-eye line, I think it's still right to do this surgery now, before it sags more.
