It’s been over 18 years since my double eyelid surgery, and to me the upper part of my eyes looks heavy, and there’s some sagging too, so I want to do it again. But I’m worried in case something goes wrong. I’m posting because I’m curious whether it would look better to do it again even from a third person’s point of view. When you look in person, the double eyelid is very faintly visible, but in the photo the double eyelid doesn’t show at all. The clinics I’ve looked into so far are AㅇK and KaㄹM, and I booked consultations. But when I looked at premium reviews in this community, both had negative posts, so I’m not sure if it’s right to go.ㅡㅡ
익명 The distance between your eyes and eyebrows is narrow, and it feels like sagging skin is covering them, so I think just a forehead lift might be enough. I don’t know how old you are, but once you’re over 40, touching the eyes can change your impression too, so I don’t recommend it.
러블리민1 [@] I’m in my mid-30s for now, and I can’t do a forehead lift... It doesn’t pull up.
익명 In my opinion, I think you need fat grafting or filler in the upper eyelids, then redo the double eyelid surgery. The eye hollows are sunken, so the skin is sagging. That’s why the double eyelid line is covered. I don’t recommend a lift.
러블리민1 [@] Oh, thank you~ So you mean I do need to have the line set again, right?
익명 [@Lovelymin1] Your eyes are pretty, so I think they’d look pretty if you redo the double eyelid surgery.
러블리민1 [@] Wow! I’ve never heard that before... Thank you so much.. I’ve had epicanthoplasty once, do you think there’s no need to open it more? My eyes kind of look a bit far apart, and the epicanthoplasty is asymmetrical. I lived without thinking much about it though.
익명 [@Lovelymin1] They don’t look far apart at all. If you open the left side to match the right, they might look too close together. Restoring the right side instead could also be an option, but restoration has high risks and is expensive I didn’t know your epicanthoplasty was asymmetrical until you told me! I think you can just leave the epicanthoplasty as it is.
러블리민1 [@] Actually, the current epicanthoplasty isn’t bad either, so even when I tried pulling the less-opened side, it didn’t seem like there was any extra tissue~ Before the epicanthoplasty, the eye length and size were the same, but after opening them, I guess the asymmetry and extra tissue can differ~ Thank you~ I should just look into redoing the line. The upper part near the inner corner of my eyes feels heavy, so I do want to open the upper area lol
