Eye Re-Surgery

1-year review of Director B at LH Plastic Surgery Clinic

I state that this post is a real review based on what I personally experienced, not a post containing false information or exaggerated slander. This post is not written to criticize the hospital in question or to spread false information intended to damage its reputation, and I state that there is no false information whatsoever in the content of this post. This post was written with the purpose of helping people who are interested in plastic surgery make decisions, and it was written based on the “rights of consumers” guaranteed by our Constitution and the Framework Act on Consumers. I state that, aside from the purpose of objectively sharing facts to provide information and help other patients, and for the public interest, I have no intention whatsoever to defame any medical institution. A few years ago, I had double eyelid surgery by incision, but it came undone, so I kept thinking I should get revision surgery, and finally made up my mind to look for a plastic surgery clinic specializing in revision surgery. While searching, I learned about Director Park Il, who apparently only does incisional revision surgery. During the consultation, he consulted with me at length and explained realistically what could be resolved and what would be difficult, so I trusted him. The price was much more expensive than other places, but since he was a specialist who only does revision surgery, I expected a good result and decided to go with him. I was a bit taken aback because there was a very big price difference depending on whether I paid the reservation deposit on the same day or not. When I visited for the consultation, I did not notice it, but on the day of surgery, when I entered the clinic, I was surprised because there were so many foreigners. After waiting, I went into the operating room and was lying down when the design was done. I thought designs were usually done while sitting up. Inside the operating room, they played upbeat music loudly while performing the surgery. I was groggy from sleep anesthesia, and with the music being loud too, my mind felt chaotic. There were many things I was dissatisfied with after the surgery. When I asked the director various questions during follow-up checks, he cut me off before even listening to everything I had to say, only said everything would get better with time, and then left, which made me very upset. I went for follow-up checks about 5 times, and I felt like it was like that every time I went. People say that at any hospital, the attitude before and after surgery is different, but experiencing it myself was truly upsetting. There are many things I am dissatisfied with, but if I had to choose the thing I am most dissatisfied with, it would be the incision-like marks at the ends of my eyes. I did not notice before surgery, but looking now at Director Park Il’s postoperative review photos, I found that everyone has incision-shaped marks at the ends of their eyes. I wonder if this is the director’s surgical style.. I am upset that I paid money and ended up with even more scars. He said everything would get better with time, but even now, after a year, it is still the same. Another dissatisfaction is that the double eyelids are not a pretty rounded shape, but somewhat crooked and uneven. There are also several points where the director’s explanation before surgery and what he said after surgery were different. My trust dropped. When comparing before and after surgery, my eyes did become bigger, but I think my satisfaction is much lower than the cost I paid. I was also disappointed with the manager’s explanation and attitude after surgery, and there was rude speech and behavior too.. but I will stop here.
