My vision got worse when I was a student, so both eyes were about 0.2 and I had astigmatism. I wore contact lenses every day, but it became uncomfortable, so I got SMILE LASIK. Before surgery, there were more things to examine than I expected, so I do not know how many months I went in and out of the hospital.. haha Maybe because it was a big hospital, there were so many people too. The waiting time was at least 2 hours every time, so I was really exhausted. The surgery itself took about 10 minutes? It was really short, and it just felt like my eyes were being scraped lightly, and then it was over. At first, when I looked at sunlight, my eyes were very dazzled, but after that, I remember there was no pain. I even played games right on the day of surgery haha..haha My vision improved from 0.2 to 1.2, and now that 1 year has passed, I do not know exactly what it is, but I can see well! And there is talk that you should not wear contact lenses after LASIK.. but I like contact lenses, so I wear them from time to time. But sometimes, because of the lenses, I get really severe cervicogenic?? headaches.. I think this is a side effect.
