I got my stitches removed today. Incision, epicanthoplasty (photo included) I got choked up on the way home…

Only the double-eyelid stitches were removed, and the epicanthoplasty stitches will be removed in two days. The eye swelling has stayed about this much since day 3, and the swelling has moved down to my face, so I look really ugly.. There are lemon-colored bruises around my eyes.. It's day 5 now, so after another week, the eye swelling should go down too, right?? My eyelashes need to come down too.. Once all the swelling goes down and I look human, unless it turns out botched, I'll upload photos again.   They said the tape is put on so the double-eyelid line doesn't come down. When I went today, the nurse removed it right before taking out the stitches. I have a really low pain tolerance, but getting the double-eyelid stitches removed truly didn't hurt. Oh, and the nurse also said that with the buried suture method, the thread is not dissolvable and normally stays inside the eye area permanently. With incision, they remove everything; I asked because I was curious. And..today, I pulled my hat down low and was going home, and at the entrance of my apartment, I passed by a few boys who looked like middle? high? school students.. But one of them suddenly deliberately stepped in front of me and looked up at me from below. Enough to startle me. I was walking with my eyes completely lowered, looking at the ground.. After I passed by, the more I thought about it, the more it seemed intentional.
