The front part of my eyes and the line are still red and bumpy. Before surgery, I was told all these sweet things, like that everything would be fine and normal after a week. When I went back to the clinic recently and said, “Didn’t you tell me that everything would be fine in a week and that there would definitely be no scarring?” they said, “You seem to think that because your expectations were so different from reality. Who said everything would be fine in a week? We said recovery would take a week. Everyone heals differently.” I don’t know if that’s even true, but since they said it like that, I had nothing to say.. And it’s already been done, so I can’t turn back time, right? I just have to trust the clinic and wait.. Since I’m already someone who had surgery, even if I get angry at the clinic, I can’t turn back time.. (That fact hurts me the most. No matter what I say or don’t say, it was already done, so all I can do is wait.ㅋ) More than 2 weeks after surgery, I said I wanted to talk to the doctor, not the manager, and asked whether the manager had a medical license, and how the doctor who operated on the patient could not be checking the progress. I made a very firm phone reservation the day before and finally met the doctor, but they talked for about 5 minutes, said it was fine, and left. The atmosphere at the clinic really seems important. Kindness seems important too. Even when I spoke on the phone, they were telling me to check the doctor’s schedule and fit my time to it, which made me angry, so I said, “Is there really a clinic where the doctor makes the patient fit the schedule instead of the other way around?” and because I spoke like that, I was able to see the doctor the very next day. If I hadn’t said anything like that, I probably would have seen them several days later?ㅋ;ㅋ And I never heard from the manager before surgery that scar disappearance varies by person and that it can take 2-3 months, or up to 6 months for slow cases..ㅋㅋ-- Among the photos posted online, there are pictures of people doing well after just one week, right? Unless someone has exceptionally good skin, most of those are probably brokers or ads. I don’t think scars disappear in just a week. Think carefully before deciding whether to have surgery or not~ It’s hard to get around with makeup covering it, and there are limits.. When I said I was stressed because of the redness, they told me to put on makeup with concealer.....; Of course, you can live by hiding it with makeup.. But if the scar keeps remaining, who would dare show their bare face?ㅠ The stress is no joke.. It’s also such a hassle to put concealer in the inner corner of the eye-- They said that if it’s the same a month later, they’ll give me an injection or take some other measure, so I guess I just have to trust them and wait.. I’m someone with no choice now anyway; once the water is spilled, that’s that..ㅋㅋ <After I told a friend about it, they said it hasn’t even been a month yet and maybe I’m rushing too much, so I should wait and see.. But being stressed is unavoidable, and being sensitive is normal, isn’t it? It’s my own face.. And when I hear things like, “Why did you mess with your eyes at home~,” I feel so ashamed of myself for having made these knife marks on my body for such a trivial desire..ㅠㅠ> <<After taking before-and-after photos, I could clearly see that the after face is better..; my eyes did get bigger after all..ㅋㅋ I’m comforting myself by telling myself that the scary impression is still just because of swelling, and that I should wait a bit more. But if there are scars left, what’s the point of being prettier? It’ll be obvious I had surgery..ㅠ-ㅠ >> And another thing I keep telling myself in my head is: I’m not going to become a celebrity anyway, and I’m not going to make a living off my face.. Why did I cling to this so much after spending my money and time? If I had used that money to travel abroad or study instead, wouldn’t I have become a more worthwhile person? I wouldn’t have to live every day with stress and worry about whether scars or side effects would be left behind.. That’s what I keep thinking. Of course, my personality tends to overthink things a bit.ㅋㅋ People with a personality like mine should think even more carefullyㅋㅋ (And I won’t answer questions about the clinic.. I’m going to wait a little longer..ㅋㅋ The shape seems to be settling in okay.. I’m going to wait just one more month on the scar.. I’m trying to be polite too..^^) Anyway, everyone, I hope you get prettier~ I’ll leave another update in a month about how things turned out.)
