Hello. I’m leaving a one-month review of my rhinoplasty without implants. I originally had a protruding hump on my nasal bridge, and my nose was long overall. Especially because my nasal tip drooped down a lot, my side profile looked generally heavy and stuffy, and from the front, I was often told I gave off a whiny(?) impression. I had surgery at a hospital I found out about through a friend’s recommendation. My friend had surgery first, and it turned out so natural and nice, so I had surgery with the same director. I wanted a smooth line while still keeping a masculine look, and from the consultation through the surgery, they really checked everything very meticulously. I’m currently one month post-op, and I’m satisfied enough that both I and my friends have been saying a lot that my side profile really turned out well. From the front, the front part still feels a little blunt, but the director said it will gradually settle and look more natural with time, so I’m waiting. I had surgery using a no-implant + autologous costal cartilage method, but the line from the nasal bridge to the nasal tip doesn’t look unnatural and falls in a masculine way, so I really like it. My friend keeps teasing me, saying it seems like mine turned out better than his nose lol The swelling has gone down a lot over the past month, and the hospital has been checking my progress carefully, so I’ve been recovering well so far without any particular side effects. I have a group gathering with friends next week, so I’m looking forward to their reactions even more. For those who have had a lot of concerns about a long nose, hump nose, or bulbous nose and are considering a no-implant procedure, I hope this can be a good reference.
