When I got on the operating table, tears just kept coming. Even though I told myself I shouldn't cry, that it would go well, that I was doing the right thing, I think I cried until right before the anesthesia took effect.. After the removal was finished and I came to my senses somewhat, I looked in the mirror. What makes me most anxious now is that, usually, when I read reviews from people here who had removal, they say that immediately after removal it looked similar to their natural nose state. But why does my appearance immediately after removal not look very different from a surgically altered nose.. I thought the columella would droop a lot, but it didn't droop, and the nasal alae didn't droop either. I can assume the height is because of swelling, but in many ways I'm so anxious that a devastating result may be waiting ahead, and everything feels dark in front of my eyes... I had the removal with the thought of being freed from the pain caused by this damn nose, but I'm worried whether I've met another tragedy instead. Whether from now on is the real start of the nightmare.. I'm really so worried that I'm going crazy... If anyone who had removal had a shape immediately afterward that wasn't much different from the nose they had after surgery, please give me some advice. Right now I feel like I need to hear anything to survive.. My head is filled only with despairing thoughts..
