I got a lot of help from this community during that time. First of all, my original nose shape was (I’m not bragging) pretty, but I became greedy about the nasal tip, so I had nasal tip surgery using septal cartilage. I also had paranasal augmentation. (They inserted 6 mm.) I was crazy, and honestly I’m still having such a hard time and regret it. I wasted money as money, and in the end my nose had to be opened twice, starting with the wounds, I wasted time as time, and both my body and mind are in pieces. The doctor said it turned out pretty and well, but I originally don’t swell much, yet the surgery took almost about 4 and a half hours, and I swelled like someone who had facial contouring. After that, my nasal tip became too pointy, from the front it looked like it had been pinched with a clothespin, and from below, my nostrils were shaped like 11. My philtrum was naturally lifted because the nasal tip was pulled out, so like someone who had whatever that cat surgery is these days, my philtrum looked even longer. (My philtrum was already long.) The paranasal augmentation also seemed to have been put in too much, with a monkey-like feeling, and the nasal tip was like a witch’s... I really had become an awkward animal ㅡㅡ Some people said, isn’t 2 weeks too soon, but in my opinion, at around 2 weeks, a certain degree of the shape seems to come out. Of course, once the swelling goes down from there, there will definitely be changes, but everyone only said my previous face was better.... Most of all, the hospital said that if I was going to remove it, doing it right away within 2 weeks would be better, so they said we should proceed immediately. Is that correct? They said at one month it’s difficult because it’s the period when scar tissue forms, and that I’d have to do it after 6 months or something.... But what surprised me a bit was, I don’t know if it’s that hospital director’s style, but other people who had different surgeries there also all had that nose shape, and the midface looked like some unknown animal’s....appearance...... On top of that, one older woman said her daughter’s philtrum was lifted too, so she was in the middle of removal... Every hospital has a different style, so I think it just didn’t suit me. In the end, it’s now the third day since I removed the paranasal implants and removed everything from my nose. I don’t know what my nose shape is like right now, but psychologically I feel more stable... I wasted money, wasted time, and emotionally and mentally it was so hard, and my face was cut open twice too, sigh...... I really feel like I’m not okay inside. I just hope this period passes quickly and turns into a blessing in disguise.. I wrote this hoping that, just as I gained strength here, other people like me can also find strength. After removal, I feel relieved, and there are parts I feel sorry about, but the hospital said I would definitely return almost 90 percent to my previous nose, so I’m going to believe that!!!! Most of all, I’ve regained a little mental stability..... And one question! Is it really true that removal after rhinoplasty is best done within 2 weeks? They say at one month it’s harder because of scar tissue, so it has to be done only after 6 months, but which statement is correct.... ㅡㅡ I already did it, so there’s nothing I can do though..
