On the 18th, the day before yesterday, I made a big decision and had posterior canthoplasty. They told me to come in yesterday, the 19th, for disinfection, but I couldn’t go because of work. Will it be okay? Honestly, swelling or bruising was not enough to worry about, and there’s no redness either haha. I heard most people’s surgery took about 20 minutes, so why did mine take 50 minutes? I also had local anesthesia. I thought I was going to die from the pain And before the stitches are removed, they say you should open your eyes as wide and as often as possible so they don’t adhere again. Does that really make sense? They did say that since I opened 5 mm, I should expect about 2 mm to adhere again, but they also said if it’s a bad case, up to 4 mm could adhere again I’m worried. Did it go well for those who had it done? Trying to force my eyes open wide makes the outer corners hurt too
