I had rhinoplasty around September 18, and from the front, I had no nasal bridge between the brows, and my nasal dorsum and nasal tip were wide and spread out. But from the side, the height of my nasal dorsum and nasal tip was somewhat okay. I consulted several hospitals. One place said we should do osteotomy, and all the others said osteotomy wasn't necessary, and that simply increasing the height would be enough to make my nose look high and slim. During the consultation, I said I wasn't that greedy about height, and that I just wanted the wide, spread-out look to be improved somewhat so my nose would look a little smaller, and I left it to the doctor.... After surgery, of course I did hear that I became prettier. But even before surgery, I often heard that I had a round, cute-looking, youthful face.. After surgery, I heard that I looked a bit more feminine.. and that my features looked more defined... But the problem is that I didn't get the effect I wanted, which was for my nose to look smaller. People said it looked bigger, that only my nose stood out.. while also saying it didn't look strange.. When I look at myself, I also only see my nose.. There really hasn't been a single day that I liked it. On top of that, my nose keeps running, and my columella is hard so I can't even wipe it properly.. It's distressing when I eat. I'm in my third week now, and my nose is still running... I asked for it to look natural and said I wasn't greedy about height. They said they put in 4.5.. I'm taken aback. People around me all keep saying, it's only been 3 weeks, why are you like that, it'll gradually get lower, wait, the money would be wasted, and so on... Of course the money matters.. It's not a small amount.. And the hospital says I have to pay if I want it removed. From the posts I've read, many places seem to do it almost for free Plastic surgery is about self-satisfaction.. First of all, I don't like it myself.. And before doing it, I just vaguely wanted to become prettier, but after doing it, I don't like the shape, I'm anxious about inflammation, and I'm scared about whether I have to keep living like this with something inside my nose I wonder if I have to live my whole life with this anxiety, and I feel so frustrated.. This is long.. because I'm frustrated.. I have nowhere to vent.. This is the first time in my life I've written a post somewhere like this.. My questions are... - I'm currently in my third week.. Would it be better to remove it as soon as possible, or should I wait 6 months before doing it..? - I heard contracture can happen after removal. Is the chance of contracture lower the sooner it is removed..? - Does contracture not happen right away..? Looking at posts, the timing seems to vary from a few weeks later to a few months later... - For dissatisfaction with the shape, do they normally charge money for removal..? - Ah.. I had silicone, an ear cartilage strut, and nasal tip suturing. I really hate the hard foreign-body sensation.. If I remove everything, will it become soft like before..? - I had open surgery. To remove everything, do I have to do open surgery again..? - I was careful about surgery too, but my desire to become prettier came first, so I never imagined this situation. I want to be even more careful about removal.. Please, I really ask you to answer... - Whether it would be better to remove it even next week right away, or better to wait....... - After removal, will my nose become bigger than before surgery,,? Ah, I'm really so frustrated, I can't sleep... Seriously, how much prettier was I trying to become, throwing away money, wasting time, getting stressed like this... I'm losing weight without dieting.
