Nose Re-Surgery

Please read this if you had your columella droop after rhinoplasty and then had removal

Those who used septal cartilage, if your columella came down after correction of an upturned nose and you had it removed, someone told me about their experience.. --------------------- I also had it done with septal cartilage and had everything removed, but they left the manipulated parts as they were and only took out the grafted cartilage pieces, so the nose that had been raised by the support became lower, and naturally the nasal tip came down more too. Your columella is similar to mine.. I can guarantee it 100%. If you remove it, it will come down even more from there. That is what happened to me. Removal really is not the answer to everything. Before removal, I felt like I was going to die, so I had it removed, but after removal I lived in a hopeless hell. After removal, I realized that before removal was much better.. If you remove it, for about a month the swelling makes the nose look round, and the columella looks wider and shorter, younger, and the impression looks better too. But as the swelling goes down, only the columella clearly comes down more, and what is more important is that from there, only the nasal tip collapses. ---------------------------------------- That is what they said, but originally, if you remove septal cartilage, isn’t the protruding columella part supposed to disappear? When correcting an upturned nose with septal cartilage, the cartilage manipulation makes the columella come out, and then septal cartilage is added on top of it, so if you simply remove the septal cartilage, since the columella was lowered by cartilage manipulation, does only the nasal tip get lower while the protruding columella stays the same? Is it really correct to have removal done at the hospital where I had it done? And when getting cartilage repositioning, do you absolutely have to get it after 6 months? The hospital where I had it done is trying not to remove it. Absolutely, absolutely absolutely absolutely, he says he cannot remove it. He says he can do revision surgery, but absolutely cannot remove it. Absolutely, absolutely, absolutely. Even if he does it, he only wants to take out the silicone and does not want to remove the nasal tip part. When I went to the hospital then and asked for removal, he ignored me and told me to just get to the point, and his attitude was bad. Maybe the doctor was angry, but he did not listen to me well, and said, I am the kind of person who does what the patient asks me to do.

Is there any way to change the doctor’s mind so the hospital where I had it done will remove it for me? Or should I ask the university-hospital doctor, where I have a removal appointment, to move the displaced cartilage back to its original place? At this university hospital, they said if they do cartilage repositioning, they would be touching the cartilage again, so why do it.. Even if someone is a plastic surgeon, are there doctors who do not know what kind of surgery cartilage repositioning is? They said they cannot remove the cartilage suturing, and that they would open the nose, check the condition, and do it at the university hospital.. And they told me there is probably cartilage manipulation in my nose ㅠㅍ퓨 Do hospitals where you had surgery usually issue medical opinions easily? I do not have time to go all the way to Seoul, so by fax... I am also scared they might manipulate the contents when they fax it now. My trust has dropped.
