I had the removal on December 7, and it has been over 5 months. I think I’ll post my final review. When comparing in photos, there is a difference. But when seen in person, other people say there is no difference from before. Currently, my side profile is smoother than before because the hump was shaved down. Before, my nasal tip drooped, but now it is higher than before, though not to a strange degree. From the front, because the hump was shaved down, the bridge that was barely there looks even less prominent and broad. The open-surgery scar has faded a lot, but it is still there, and scar tissue inside the nose still remains. The “um-pa um-pa” lip movement is better than in the early stage, but it still isn’t like before surgery. I can do a piggy nose slightly. I’ve now recovered mentally and am living while forgetting about it. I don’t think it goes back 100% to how it was before surgery. Since the difference isn’t big and it isn’t strange-looking, I think I naturally forget about it as time passes.
