2-week nose review

4 mm silicone, ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and alar reduction. I had it done during the Chuseok holiday, and my surgery took close to 3 hours. The suturing for the alar reduction took a long time. I just had taping, no splint.. The first day was just really uncomfortable because of the cotton. The next day, the cotton was removed right away.. I did cold compresses, and other than that I immediately met friends and went out to have fun. I also went to coffee shops. They said being active helps the swelling go down faster. On day 5, I removed the taping too, and on day 7 all the stitches were removed. I went to work on day 9, and people with a sharp eye noticed, but otherwise they didn't know. I had no bruising at all, and the facial swelling had all gone down. Of course, my nose looked bigger because of swelling, in my view. So even when I said I had filler, they just believed it. After that, until the 2-week mark, the swelling around the nasal tip went down, but the problem is that it went down unevenly, so the two sides visibly look different. It feels like the silicone is slightly shifted to the right. But today I went for my 2-week follow-up, and the director scheduled a revision surgery just for the silicone nasal bridge. It seems it probably isn't a swelling issue, and the silicone isn't positioned exactly in the center. Aside from that, everyone says it turned out really well. I used two hard-earned vacation days and attached them to Monday and Tuesday of the Chuseok holiday to do this.. but I'm going for revision surgery this Saturday.. Even now, my current appearance is good enough for me to be completely satisfied, but if the director says we should do it, I should, right?
