I had surgery about two months ago. For the nasal bridge where the hump was shaved down, I used my own septal cartilage instead of silicone. (Nasal bridge after hump osteotomy) For about 1 week after the first surgery, I was satisfied. But starting around 2 weeks later, the nose line became bumpy again, and although it’s not as bad as before, it doesn’t have a smooth line. I think it’s because cartilage was inserted instead of silicone. I think you would need to use silicone for a smooth line.
And there are quite a few side effect symptoms.. I’ll write them down. (Currently 2 months after surgery)
1. The sizes of the right nostril and left nostril are different. (Not something visible from the outside, but if I put my finger in, they are clearly different.) 2. The cartilage inside the right nostril can be felt, maybe because adhesion hasn’t fully occurred. It protrudes and hurts when touched.. 3. When I run, my nose resonates. (Around the nasal bridge) It feels like something has been placed on my nose, and my nose keeps resonating. 4. When lying down, if I lie on my left side, I strongly feel like something? inside my nose is shifting to one side, and if I lie on my right side, it disappears. 5. Maybe because of scar tissue, there is still a foreign sensation when I touch my nose. (This is gradually recovering.) 6. This is a symptom I felt recently. If I just scrunch my face with my own strength, there’s no pain, but when I yawn and my facial muscles naturally scrunch, pain is triggered in my nose. 7. I can’t make a pig nose. I didn’t touch the nasal tip at all and only put septal cartilage into the nasal bridge. I don’t understand it.
I wrote about this much, but I feel like there may be more.. That’s how it is.
