Hello, I’m 19 now and a student who will soon become a college freshman. I’ve already had double eyelid surgery and nose surgery. I had the double eyelid surgery in the summer when I was 17, and the nose surgery in winter, so it has been two years.
Because I wore high-prescription glasses until middle school, I had a lot of complexes about my appearance. I was often teased in a joking way for being ugly too. I especially had a lot of dissatisfaction with my low nose, so as soon as I entered high school I got nose filler. I also took off my glasses and used eyelid glue, and people around me started looking at me completely differently. Because of that attention, I got greedy and even went ahead with surgery, but now I regret it so much.
At first I was satisfied myself, but now the silicone in my nose shows and the cartilage also shows roundly in its shape. I also look awkward when I smile. Because I had plastic surgery, people talk about me a lot and whisper, and since I’m a student, of course rumors get exaggerated. That is also very stressful. If I could go back to the past, I really would want to stop my younger self.
I didn’t change that much after the surgery anyway. Looking at old photos, I wasn’t that unattractive, so I wonder why I changed it. More than anything, I feel so sorry to my parents. Really... I’m so sorry. How must they have felt when their daughter asked to change her face... I regret it so much.
So now I’m saving money, and I’m planning to remove my nose this winter. But for the double eyelid surgery, when I search, I do see hospitals that say they can reverse it, but I can’t trust whether they can really restore it properly because it has already been two years... I wrote this just because I had been holding everything in until now and had nowhere to say it. Thank you for reading my post.
If there is anyone thinking about plastic surgery, unless you are completely remodeling your face, the changes are not that big. It would be better to use that money to learn makeup and work on self-improvement. Really, don’t get plastic surgery casually... especially not the nose! I hope the nose removal surgery this winter goes well... Are there any people here who have had their eyes loosened?
