Since middle school, I wanted to have double eyelids, so I tried double eyelid glue and double eyelid tape.. It just wasn't working, so I persuaded my parents and had double eyelid surgery in my second year of high school. When it came time to actually do it, I was so scared that I wondered if I should cancel.. but once I did it, it was fine!! I'm from outside Seoul, and I had it done at a place rumored to be the best in my area (Cheongju ㅇㅅ). During the consultation, they just temporarily made a double eyelid line and said they would make it pretty to suit my current eyes, so I just said okay and proceeded with the surgery. I had partial incision + ptosis correction, and from the beginning there wasn't much swelling!! I went to school the very next day after double eyelid surgery, and because I wore thick-framed glasses, only my close friends knew and everyone else didn't know lol. Still, I worked hard with cold compresses and warm compresses to reduce the minor swelling, and I diligently applied ointment because I was worried it might get inflamed. Now, if I don't say anything, no one knows I had double eyelid surgery. Even when my eyes are closed, it doesn't show much... My friend also had it done last month, and looking at it, it didn't really look like she had double eyelid surgery either hehe. I'm satisfied hehe
