(Long post warning, no summary warning) Contour surgery review from day 1 to now, 2 months later 1

This is my first time writing a review related to plastic surgery haha For facial contouring, to be exact, I had cheekbones + square jaw (just tidying the line behind the ears + cortical bone ostectomy) + deep cheek fat removal. Now that I write it out, it seems like I had quite a lot done haha but because the approach was to shave down as little bone as possible, it ended up like that. Other places told me hopeful things like they would do whatever I wanted and everything was possible, so every time I had a consultation I was tempted, thinking, oh, here? no, here? But the last place I consulted at pointed out only exactly what was necessary and said things like there was no need to shave bone there, and they did not recommend anything more. The doctor seemed blunt, but answered all my questions well.. People say that when you go around for consultations, you can clearly feel “this is the hospital,” and that’s how I felt at that hospital. I also went to places that were fairly well known by word of mouth, but I do think there is definitely a hospital that suits you. Of course, you have to spend time going to different places. Anyway, after surgery, at first I thought, ah, why did I pay money to put myself through this.. Because of the anesthesia, phlegm was stuck in my throat, and because I had drainage bags, my mouth was slightly open and drool came out. (I also had surgery to shave down the hump on my nose. The nasal tip was with septal cartilage. No silicone. Since that’s not part of the contouring, I’ll leave it out.) Since I couldn’t breathe through my nose, I had to breathe through my mouth, but my nose had cotton in it.. (To be honest, I didn’t have pain. My tooth-extraction orthodontics and double-eyelid surgery didn’t hurt either.) Breathing was the most distressing for me. The nurse brought me a small trash can, tissues, and bottled water, so I kept spitting out phlegm, wiping drool, and since I couldn’t open my mouth, wiping up the water I spilled when drinking... I was scared I might die in my sleep without realizing it, so I stayed up all night haha while repeating the process above.. For cold compresses, if I pressed the bell next to the bed, a nurse came and did cold compresses for me, and whenever it felt lukewarm, I called them right away. Waiting only for the drainage tubes to be removed the day after surgery... I was flailing my arms and legs in bed? It’s funny now that I think about it, but I kept asking when they would take them out. Suddenly I felt hungry (the day before I had been okay, maybe because of the IV nutrients), and because breathing was stuffy and I stayed up all night, time felt even longer.. When they removed them, it really felt like something deeply embedded inside my flesh was being pulled out.. Next to me, the nurse held my hand, and I shed a few tears haha After that, normally I would be discharged after one day of hospitalization, but the doctor asked how about staying for about 5 days at a hotel connected to the hospital, so I wondered if it was for money and asked, how much do I have to pay? and they said no, it’s just free.. They said they would provide all three meals too, so I said yes. My house is a little over an hour away, and I was even more swollen than the day of surgery, looking like a total monster, with swelling and bruising around my eyes, which irritated my tear glands so tears kept flowing.. (I took photos continuously from the day of surgery, and even looking at them now, I looked very scary? severe?) For many reasons it was hard to move around, and the biggest reason was that it was free and they said they would give me meals haha The place I stayed had a private room with a TV, air conditioner, wide bed (it went up and down if you pressed a button haha for use during compresses.. I’m from the countryside, so I played with it like it was a ride haha...), wardrobe, bathroom, all fully equipped and clean, so it was nice. The inpatient room the day before had multiple people and a hard single bed.. At least it was by the wall, so if I covered one side with the curtain it was okay, but the people I ran into every time I went to the bathroom it was uncomfortable. There was also a bell next to the bed, so if I called, they did compresses, and they served porridge as some kind of set. Of course, since my mouth opened only a little, I mainly ate things I could drink.. It felt like I was being treated well, so I liked it haha.....
