Review of treatment for café-au-lait spots

I was diagnosed with pigmentation I’d had since childhood as café-au-lait spots, and I underwent laser treatment for about a year (once a week), but it’s really hard to cure completely.

What’s important is consistently getting laser treatment once a week, but when you’re working, that’s hard. And before I was diagnosed with café-au-lait spots, I went to a fairly well-known dermatology clinic in the area where I live and was told it was a large mole, so I had the experience of having that wide area treated like mole removal ㅜㅡㅜ...

Later, I went to another dermatology clinic just in case, and the doctor said this was café-au-lait and different from a mole, so the treatment method was different too. That’s when I started laser treatment.

I have them on my forehead, arms, and legs, but I only treated my forehead. After more than a year, it became about half as faint as it was at first, but right now it’s hard to keep going to the hospital regularly, so I’m taking a break. I’m planning to go again. The color gets darker again with UV exposure. They said there’s no complete cure and that it can only be made somewhat lighter... Treatment is hard.
