I had surgery around the end of September last year, and now my nose has finally settled and a lot of the residual swelling has gone down haha Before surgery, rather than being low, my nose was round and bulbous, so I hated how the nasal tip and nostril wings looked like one single part? I told the doctor that no matter what, I wanted it slim and pointed, but he said that probably wouldn’t suit my face. He did it as close to what I wanted as possible, but made the tip a bit rounded so it would suit my face! Now that the residual swelling is gone, I think the doctor’s opinion was right lolllll From the start, I didn’t swell much right after surgery, and even if I swelled a little, it was the type that would all go down after a 30-minute walk. Maybe because of that, it still looked blunt until around 3-4 months, so whenever I went in for care, I was always just worrying. But I guess the saying that rhinoplasty really starts from month 6 is true. It was better to listen to the doctor telling me to wait ^^ If anything, it feels like such a waste of the time I spent worrying, being anxious, and almost going crazy over it from the early post-op period ... I brought a photo of Giselle from aespa, and I also organized and printed out the vibe I wanted, the vibe I didn’t want, and the points I wanted improved... It might seem over the top, but I think it’s good for communicating smoothly with the doctor! At first, since I wanted a slimmer nasal bridge more than height, I wasn’t sure what had changed. But now I can’t even post my pre-surgery nose photos anywhere... Even if longtime acquaintances notice, most of them just say I somehow got prettier, so that feels good too. It feels like my image has changed a lot hehe I really went to dozens of clinics over several months. In the end, even if you visit famous places, large clinics, and so on, I think what matters is finding a place that fits you well. It’s kind of funny, but what stuck with me was that the director told me during the consultation to try losing weight lololololol Of course, I gained more weight afterward^^ But when others were telling me to do all sorts of excessive procedures, he was the only person who told me to do only the surgery I needed and that the rest would look pretty enough if I lost weight... It may be unusual, but that’s how it was for me lolololol Of course, he also did the surgery well and takes such good care of me. I think I made a good choice!
