At first, I thought I just had a bulbous nose, so I wondered if I should just get a more glamorous nasal tip like people advised. But while going around for consultations, among the places I had organized and visited early on, Director Lee Seung-chan at one clinic said that although it wasn’t severe, I did have a nasal hump.. So after the consultation ended, I searched to see if there were cases similar to mine. There were people who had rhinoplasty because of a bulbous nose and a hump like me, but for cases like mine, people seemed to mostly visit directors with long surgical experience or hospitals specializing in noses. This time.. I really want this to be my last surgery, so I looked into things based on the advice I received and what I had found, and that helped a lot with organizing everything. The problem is that it’s so hard to decide on one place from my final list now.. So I wanted to ask, for everyone looking into revision surgery, what usually gives you confidence enough to decide?
박신호 There really are humps that aren’t visible from the outside, only ones you can see after taking a CT scan. I had also been to that clinic.
처음하늘 If it’s Director Lee Seung-chan at that clinic, I’ve had a consultation too. The criteria people use to narrow things down may differ a little, but in my case, when the important standards I looked at (experience + consultation + aftercare, etc.) were similar, I listened to a friend’s advice and chose the place I felt a bit more drawn to.

주노뒨 Before going for consultations, I looked at reviews first, but after actually going to consultations, I think I decided solely based on the director’s consultation.
아로마콜로지 Like you said, it means the hump isn’t severe, so what are you worried about?! I also had a hump nose, but it wasn’t to the point of needing osteotomy, so I only had surgery to correct it at a clinic. Just because it’s a hump doesn’t mean osteotomy is always needed, so go to more consultations. Also, a hump is on the nasal dorsum, while for a bulbous nose the nasal tip and alar base are more important, so you can think of them as different.
