When I had revision rhinoplasty, they used the autologous costal cartilage from my first surgery, and also used donated costal cartilage to correct the crookedness, but there’s show-through and I can really feel the trimmed cartilage.. With this degree of cartilage show-through, does everyone get another revision? I’m thinking of just living with it, but I’m wondering if I’m just not realizing how serious it is!!

Originally the support strut on the columella side was showing through, but now the outline of the tip cartilage is starting to show a bit too, so just… I’m going to wait until as much as possible shows through, and if it doesn’t look too strange, I’ll try to hold out.. Honestly, I want to get a revision 5 or 6 years later
