It was a factory-style clinic, but I thought they must have done a lot and had lots of experience, so I chose that hospital. Because it was a large hospital, I thought the system would be well organized and that even if a problem came up, I could at least get some aftercare.. That’s what I thought... But really.. I painfully realized that you truly have to think very carefully about any procedure or surgery...
1. Check the doctor’s condition Meet a doctor who manages their condition well.. Really, not a director who goes into 5-6 different surgeries a day, but if there is one hospital, you should go somewhere with clearly divided parts, like a doctor dedicated to noses.. With hand skills, if there is one slip, that patient is basically sent straight down the road to revision surgery..
Me> When I went back because my nose went wrong, they said there was no surgical problem, that they did it well and there was nothing wrong, so they couldn’t refund me. 2. Check whether they take care of you even after surgery Almost no doctor says a surgery that went wrong is their responsibility.. But shouldn’t they at least provide aftercare or check properly? Maybe because I was rejected so flatly;; How nice would it have been if they had said even just one sentence like that.. Honestly, everyone who has prepared for revision surgery knows. You really feel, “Wow, revision surgery.. I can’t live like this,” right? It immediately becomes depression.. Not being able to meet people is basic, and you lose your whole daily life.. You can’t sleep and keep looking up surgery reviews.. During consultations, you have to see carefully whether they are just saying empty words, and I think it’s important to read a lot of revision surgery reviews Because their attitude after surgery can only be known through things like that.
3. Filter out hospitals that say they will do everything unconditionally Of course, it’s great if surgery goes well.. I think positive energy is necessary too, but even if everyone else posted reviews saying theirs went well, mine may not be like that First, judge how honest the doctor is. Be careful of hospitals that say everything is possible, if you do this and that, it will all work, and they will do it for you. It’s nice that they speak positively, but I think they should speak honestly and conservatively about the results so the patient can judge accurately…!! The doctor who did my revision surgery was not extremely warm, but also not blunt either..? They thought about a direction that would touch as little as possible, and explained issues I needed to think about, like if the nasal bridge is raised more than this, it will show through. So I think I was able to come to my senses and compare this and that..
I’m currently satisfied because my nose turned out natural, and since it was a hospital I chose after really thinking hard, should I say I put a lot of feeling into it…? (Finding reviews, going to consultations, and deciding all require that much interest, you know) Maybe because of that, I feel like a firmer sense of trust built up. Thankfully, the hospital’s attitude was the same before and after surgery too..! So everyone, please don’t just go to a hospital that says they are good at everything because you feel rushed….! I sincerely hope you meet a hospital that really fits you and has skill, and succeed.
