I had an inner double eyelid with a thin line. At first, it seemed like the swelling was going down really quickly. But after the first month, the swelling just wouldn't go down, even now..... Yes, I ended up with what people commonly call sausage eyes! I kept thinking it would get better with time.. and after waiting and waiting, it's almost been a year. Today I went to the hospital where I had the surgery and got a consultation, and they said it's because my skin is thick and that even if I have revision surgery, it would be the same. I feel so unsettled, and I regret the surgery itself
For anyone planning to have surgery, unless you have a really severe complex, please think very carefully before doing it, seriously!! And get consultations at several hospitals too!
